Comfort Inn

It was a bitter sweet when staying. I lived in garden city ks and my husband was relocated so I was here dealing with the moving company they got done late and the road were wet from snow earlier so I decided to stay another.night and hit the road in the morning. Reggie zeanhin was amazing I came in teary eye from saying good bye to neighbors and friends. He ask if I was a local and I told him yes but no and told him what was going on he didn't give any hell I told him we have a new address and he said cool I'll need to leave a note and explain what's going on he was so good to me and amazing especially with this being a sad day for to say good by to our home! I told my husband how good Reggie has been to me and making my last night in garden city not as sad. I will definitely be back when we find someone to buy our home and do the closing thank you again Reggie for making saying good bye to garden not as bad. The room was clean and everything you is close.

Little rough around the edges |The carpet was dirty. I spelled a glass of water on the carpet and used a hand towel to soak up the water. The towel/water was brown. |The refrigerator was barely cool. I saw no way to adjust it. No clock. Thin towels. |Breakfast unattended, I cleaned my own table. The scrambled eggs were all but gone.

What kind of hotel has 1 -ONE ice machine for 3 floors of rooms- but vending machines on every floor?? No Internet for a week- I had to spend $200 to just work or watch tv.. the bathtub has a hole in it that was improperly fixed with some spaco.. the downstairs room was flooded more than once & no one even asked to check on the above room (mine) for reasons why it was flooding. I realized the caulk/spaco was actually still a crack in the tub later. The hotel doesn’t salt their lot or sidewalks after it snows- lasted for a week. I slipped & hurt my back to where I missed work. Breakfast is never on time. …But you’ll see staff just sitting in the dark office on their phone so they don’t deal with people. SOME of (I won’t say all) the staff particularly Michelle, is just simply rude & confrontational for nothing. I’ve done customer service for YEARS but now live out of hotels for work. So I know how it goes. I am always on the road with my crew for work. So we’re a rather large account. Even with a group staying long term- this hotel staff definitely does not appreciate business & so I can honestly say most of the staff here won’t care about you either. We won’t be back after Christmas. Stay somewhere else.

The bar wasn't super high when we decided to walk in and get a room. It is a little worn around the edges. There is no workout area. The pool & patio appeared to be closed. The desk clerk got us a small discount due to our sticker shock,lol. But the king suites we got were clean. Most everything worked. Though, I never figured out which remote worked best on which TV. Just enough towels for one person. You might want to request more if there is more than one. Or maybe I just like plenty of towels! Lol Bed comfortable. The environmental controls worked too. There is a great view of the highway if you are into that sort of thing. Breakfast was a tad bit better than I expected. The hot breakfast included a couple of kinds of sausage and waffles. There were plenty of cold options like cereal too. For a spur of the moment place to stay in Garden City it was a great night's stay.

This was a very nice motel greeted by very friendly people. The service was great. The breakfast was good. The rooms are extremely nice very updated and modern. I stayed in a suite with a whirl pool. The room was just fantastic. Very comfortable beds nice big TV. the room was very Temperature well regulated. I will definitely return to this place again on my next business adventure
